The Critical Peace Network, established in January 2025 by 16 civil society organisations, has published a declaration on the ongoing Kurdish peace process. The Peace Network, which consists of rights-based organisations working on issues such as human rights, women, LGBTI+, children, youth, cultural heritage, education and minorities, which are areas of peace and intersection, conveyed its demands for the construction of an inclusive, pluralistic, just and democratic peace in the text it published. The demands are grouped under three headings: conditions for negotiation and participation, the establishment of transitional justice mechanisms, and the institutionalisation of peace through transformative justice.
