Off University’s annual report serves as a testament to the organization’s unwavering commitment to transparency and solidarity. Established in 2017 by Turkish scholars who had to flee their country and German academics who stood in solidarity with them, Off University has always embraced full transparency as a core value. Our mission extends beyond simply bridging the gap between displaced scholars and charitable institutions. It aims to create a network of support that re-imagines the academic landscape, encouraging a collective effort to reflect on past practices and develop new, more effective ways of fostering academic freedom and collaboration.
