A University Without Borders
As an independent charitable organisation led by scholars at risk, we are 100% self-funded. Your support enables us to support scholars at risk, maintain our secure e-learning platform, develop innovative and inclusive pedagogy, and carry out collaborative research.
Our work centers on creating a (digital) sanctuary, fostering critical thinking, research, and education as an alternative response to oppression. In a world grappling with political oppression and the stifling of intellectual freedoms, our mission is threefold:
provide a secure haven for endangered scholars and students,
cultivate knowledge in the face of adversity,
nurture a global community united by a commitment to social justice.
(Academic) freedom is under greater threat than at any time since 1945.
